Lisa Ray finally got married to her fiance Jason Dehni (originally from Lebanon in the Middle East) in Napa Valley, California, USA, on the 20th of October, 2012. This date had been specially selected by her Bengali father, because of its auspiciousness with regard to Durga Puja. The marriage function was a simple, quiet ceremony.
For the wedding ceremony, Lisa Ray wore a sparkling white wedding gown embellished with crystals, designed by Wendell Rodricks. She had previously visited Wendell Rodricks’ design studio in Goa for fittings. Lisa Ray also wore minimal wedding jewelry, which included simple elegant earrings. Her husband Jason was wearing a simple black suit and bow-tie. Lisa Ray later posted this photo on her Twitter profile.

Being the host of a food show in Canada, Lisa Ray ensured the wedding food and catering was of a very high standard, and displayed the heritages of both the bride and the groom. Hence, there were both Indian delicacies and Mediterranean cuisine (Lebanese in particular).
